Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
Not all satellite receivers have IF loop through btw, Aston, smaller Humax and Wetek are ones I have come across in the past where connection to anything else is not possible.
Add some of the VU+ Receivers to that group - at least the Solo 2 does not have one (more's the pity!)

Rolfw : I am understanding what your saying , I'm unable to tell you or show with pictures as I haven't bought a receiver until I know what I need. I also need the receiver to be Linux based.

John: I know there is loads of different ways to do it but it was already wired to do it with connecting Rf to TV. Also HDMI will be costly, I know will be good picture but their not bothered.

a33: All I want to do is run a feed from the receiver to a second tv using the RF connection on the TV.
the first TV is connected with HDMI.

From all the information I need a receiver that has a RF out on it for it to work.

thank you all for your knowledge and help!!!

I doubt that there are many receivers, that have a RF output, but as I think Rolfw has stated, you can get a receiver with a scart output, and a scart to RF modulator, that should do what you want.

A small question, does the second TV require audio, or is the audio from the sat receiver going through the bar's sound system? If it doesn't need separate audio, then you could simly use the coax cable as a composite video lead with F type to phono adapters and a scart to phono adapter at either end.

Also, another idea, if money is tight and you or the bar still have an old VHS tape machine lying around, just use that as a modulator, but stand alone RF modulstors are not expensive anyway, can be bought for between 25 and 40 Euros.:)

Another potential solution, HDMI over coax converters can be bought for around £80, add a two way HDMI splitter at around £15 and you have a high quality picture on the second TV.

If you're in the market for a receiver, have you considered an enigma 2 receiver and then a cheap Kodi box next to your second TV? That would give loads of flexibility.

Is there a plug in for Kodi that would let you stream from an E2 receiver?

Well, I don't know how you came to this unidimensional conclusion (I wouldn't conclude yet, but investigate further the given options and possibilities, but that's me I guess :) ), but you've made your mind up it seems.

So no need for us, to give or elaborate other options?

a33 I am gratefull for all information and all the different ways but I am at the moment interested
in how I can do it with RF out.

I have been able to get a GI combo 6699e that has a RF in and out.
GICOMBO6699Eb.jpg

Blademedia, I have been able to get hold of this receiver, I have connected the rf out and connected the other end to the 2nd tv aerial . In the setting of the receiver the rf channel is set to 38.
On the second Tv I have tried to scan to pick up the picture from thereceiver but with no luck.
there is 3 Rf setting that can be used BG,I or DK. I have tried match on the receiver and the second TV when i do a scan but no picture!!!

what am I doing wrong???

You should have the option, in the GI combo 6699e, of changing the RF output, from 38, which sometimes isn't compatible.
Have you got your satellite receiver, connected to the GI combo 6699e, by scart lead?
Have you selected the correct AV setting, on the GI combo 6699e, as it has 2 scart inputs?

I will try changing the Rf channel from 38, any ideas what to try first??
also do you know what the different in 3 Rf setting that can be used BG,I or DK??
I have connected the main TV with a HDMI so no problems there, I'm not using scart inputs at all.

BG, I and DK relate to audio subcarrier frequency used.

BG - Europe
DK - Russia
I - UK

It won't stop you from tuning into it.

this is driving me mad I know it works , last night I had another try.
I tried changing the rf channel on the GI6699 receiver , it starts from 21 and goes up to 69.
the TV is analogue I tried setting it to scan V/UHF and the the same channel set on the the receiver.
I tried a cable from the lnb out to rf in and then the rf out to the second TV.
don't want to sound stupid but how can I check that the RF out is working and there is a signal going to the second TV, try another TV???

First ensure your scart lead is working correctly.
Connect a scart lead, from your satellite receiver, to your GI combo 6699e, then connect a second scart lead, from your GI combo 6699e, which has two scart sockets, to a television.
On the TV select the scart input option, and see if you can view your satellite signal, if not change the AV/Input option to AV1, or AV2, until you get a picture.
Only when this is working try your RF out option.

No need for this at all. LNB OUT is for connecting another receiver to the same LNB, not for TV.
