Launch date for the much delayed EchoStar 21 (XXI), is 29 April.

Apologies, I mixed up some info, the above mentioned Downlink & TT&C are NOT of EchoStar 23, but of Intelsat 32e/Sky-B1 launched previously.

Going through various exhibits at fcc.gov however, I still can not be sure of the first whereabouts of EchoStar 23. Most likely scheme seems:

(2) After launch and orbit-raising maneuvers, EchoStar 23 will be temporarily located 67.1º W.L., where IOT will commence for approximately 30 days.
The satellite will then be moved to 86.4° W.L. for 90 days.
(3) Following the temporary operations at 86.4 º WL EchoStar 23 will be moved to its assigned orbital location at 45° W.L.

Alternative scheme:

(2) After launch and orbit-raising maneuvers, EchoStar 23 will be temporarily located at 86.4° W.L. for approximately 90 days.
(3) Following temporary operations at 86.4º W.L., EchoStar 23 will be moved to its assigned orbital location at 44.9° W.L., where in-orbit testing (“IOT”) will commence for approximately 30 days.

So 45°W is the final location (44.9°W is also mentioned and is more likely correct, since Intelsat 14 is already at 45.0°W)

EchoStar 23 has the typical BSS downlink range: 12.2...12.7 GHz circular pol.
TT&C on 12207 and 12208 MHz.

If TLE's are correct, EchoStar 23 now is in an unexpected location!
Now near 44.2°W, moving West 0.15° per day, as if approaching the final location already.
Maybe someone can try to catch the TT&C to confirm this?

Following the transfer of Echostar's BSS satellites to DISH, since 3 July EchoStar 23 is being relocated to 72.6°W.
That will be next to Nimiq 5 at 72.7°W, already in use for DISH USA.
