If you ask the motor to move to 30W for example, have you gone outside and checked to see if it moves that far west?
i think it does go that far

You will need to delete all limits you will need to make sure that your dish can travel from your most easterly satellite to 30 west without driving into a wall or other obstruction before you try this,

Go to Hotbird @ 13 east
Installations / Motorised Settings
Select DiSEqC Motor 1.2 then go to the bottom save & press OK
Now move the cursor up to Motor Control
Move the cursor Delete Limit& press OK
Exit & move back to DiSEqC motor then select USALS then go to the bottom & press OK
Your motor will now move to your desired satellite.

Most receivers have the option of setting software limits, and most motors have the option of hardware limits.
Try moving your dish to 30W and scanning in the transponder in William-1s list:
Just Sharing This - Strongest Transponders

If you can't find anything it could be due to your Latitude, and Longitude, not being entered correctly.
You can try manually moving the dish, using your receivers motor menu options, or switch from USALS to Diseqc 1.2, and manually store your receivers positions.
I would start with your Latitude, and Longitude, remembering negative Longitude readings = West.

John, it takes our members a lot of time to write out advice for you. What's beyond frustrating is that you seem to ignore, not follow up or simply not grasp what is being said to you.

All your answers are one liners with no reasonable logic behind any of them.

When you say "I think", that means you haven't even bothered checking before answering. Your receiver came with a manual (it's in the same box as the receiver came in). I suggest you take time to read and absorb everything there before making dismissive comments without substantiating any of them.

26E is a tough satellite, for parts of the UK, I can't get much on a 1.2M CM dish, at my location.
Have you tried 39E, 42E, and 52E yet?
Also how are the West satellite searches going?
