ATM, I don't have a receiver that will pick up the very low (<1000) S/R channels on that sat, and so can't even find China Radio.

However with both the TM5402 M3 and the Free Sat V7HD setting the dish to a nominal 45W I think I'm seeing some form of strong signal levels and "activity" at around 11450MHz - but neither receiver picks up any channels, so these are probably data of some sort. However, neither KoS, Lyngsat or Satbeams list anything at around those frequencies.

My question is thus: has anyone who can definitely get 45W also seen similar "activity" at around those frequencies because, if so, that would seem to confirm that my dish is correctly pointed at that sat?

Feedsat_DXer reported 11453 V 2315 3/4 about a year ago, containing data streams only.

@hvdh (and obviously also to Feedsat_DXer!)
Many thanks - that would seem to confirm that what I am "seeing" is something on 45W :)

@Feedsat_DXer

Many thanks again, will take another look and see what appears to show up, at least frequency wise.

Cheers

John
