Today Spotify services became available in Israel after a long wait.
Few months ago we had Deezer services launched as well.
I quite enjoy using Deezer and although Spotify is supposed to be better, I still don't see the difference or if the waiting was well worth it.
My internet radio Sangean has Spotify icon, but I learnt that I shall need Spotify Premium subscription and I must also have a mobile or tablet switched on in order to connect to the Sangean radio.
I was hoping that it would just connect independently to the Spotify services and now I am really disappointed.

Spotify connect need a premium subscription, the windows/Linux Pc apps/programs all work with Spotify connect.

I use my iPhone to control connect on my Pi.

I have had Spotify, Deezer and Tidal.
Spotify I use now, it seemed to have the most tracks.
Tidal sounded the best though.

Just cancelled Spotify premium ..... Had it included with Vodafone sub for 12 months. Used it a bit at first, when it was a novelty, but IMHO not worth £9.99 per month.
