You can still buy the Technomate TM-5300 D M2 Super+ Digital Satellite Receiver, so it should be capable of receiving quite a few channels.
Is there a cable, from the dish, going into the house?
If possible please upload some pictures, of the dish/LNB, and check if any cable is still alright, and not damaged.

I have a couple here, requiring remotes but they are/were good as standard definition receivers.
A completely different menu structure from the other TM receivers I have used though (1500/5402/6800)

The cable, and dish, look fine.
I'd try connecting your receiver, to the incoming cable, and check what channels scan in.

Well, I don't see a motor through the perforations of the dish.
But it is not 100% clear; a photo from the side would be better for that.

All a motor does is move the dish so that it tracks the satellite arc, so you can view more satellites, generally from 30W to 52E.
Once you do a scan we'll be able to find out which satellite your dish is pointing at, probably 19.2E, 13E or 28.2E.

I don't see a motor there, but if the receivers are already sending data that activates movement on a different system, the dish might not pick up any signal.

Hi sorry for the late reply i did a scan and only got free channels on 13e satellite.

It found 230 free to air channels but how do i get the encrypted ones.

I checked the other satellites of which some had good signal but none of the others found any channels

My card is via access but none of those channels scanned

Is the card up to date?

Is the subscription still valid on it??

Those signal quality readings are poor, which possibly means that the dish has moved, and might explain why you're not getting all the channels.
Can you please post some of the channels, you're able to view, along with the transponder, polarity, and S/R (Symbol Rate)
e.g. Fashion One Europe 10815 H 27500 DVB-S
