I suspect this is only for UK citizens, (but I may be wrong) but the BBC is allowing you to comment on their content, you do have to log in to submit your comments/opinions.

I should warn you that if you have ever been critical of their services in the past or you have ever complained to them before, your opinion/comments may be rejected as indeed were mine which was the reason I stopped complaining to them in the first place. They want a pat on the back only from those that will give them a pat on the back and nobody else. I have in previous years spent many hours detailing a complaint only to get it thrown back at me with fake error messages, a very cowardly thing to do IMHO, not accepting criticism is a foolish agenda and could lead to a reduction in funding.

EDIT
My second attempt did go through but I had to shorten my responses, their word counter does not seem to work correctly

It's also a chance for those of us who think that overall the BBC is providing a quite remarkably good service to express their opinion. There are BBC lovers as well as BBC bashers around.

Excellent quality and excellent value. Can't be beaten on quality and value for money.

I'm a great fan of the BBC, but do feel it's News and Current Affairs output has strayed too far from reporting - far too much "analysis". But I also recognise that "bias" is relative: The left think Auntie is an organ of the Establishment and the right think it is a Commie outpost. So it offends all - which, on the whole, is good.

I do wish they would sort out the red screen of death. For the millionth time yes we know you can't afford the bandwidth for a hd channel for each region but they could at least show something other than a boring red screen. Maybe they should show BBC News' Sportsday during the 6.30pm slot.

Do BFBS and Kabelio on Hotbird show the red screen? I'm pretty sure BFBS is standard definition so in theory they should be ok.

Looking at BFBS's TV guide on their website, it makes out that they do show the red screen of death "18:30 This is BBC One HD", so maybe it gets downscaled. Although their version of ITV is London according to the same guide.

I imagine Kabelio will show it as they will get their feed of BBC One HD from Astra 2. Same for cable TV in Benelux, although they may get a fibre feed of it (also with BBC First HD).

Bizarrely, on the other hand the BBC One SD "England" version on the Intelsat 905 27.5°W Satback terrestrial back-up, does show Sportsday at 6:30 as its placeholder, or at least did the last time I checked!

I wish they'd do away with the red screen too though, even if they only gradually launch some of the regions in HD!

Biased Broadcasting Corporation. I do not want their opinions, I want facts. Never watch anymore.

Kabelio does show the red screen. From what I remember Benelux did too as they use BBC One HD.

I am well aware of that Paul however anyone who has read the current royal charter can be nothing but disappointed in their level of adherence to its principles, my other objection is having to pay a license fee to further line the pockets of millionaire sports pundits, funding of the BBC should be on a voluntary subscription basis, btw, their biased reporters earn more than the PM.

I really wouldn't bother, the answer is in your second paragraph.

Much like their preliminary job applications, where there is a supposed vetting procedure before any actual interviews take place, the corporation asks applicants for their opinions on certain 'key' subjects about the role.

They will then sift through the responses and pick the ideas that have wings, without having to give credit to the ones that suggest them. Those that are the 'who you know' rather than the 'what you know' will ultimately end up in gainful employment.

Complaints are of course valid comments/opinions, but of no real use to a failed business plan.

Just received an EMail with a link to a Survey about the BBC.

I gave generally favourable replies but hammered home the Left-Wing bias in News and Current Affairs at every opportunity.

I had one a couple of days ago but as I had already responded two weeks ago using the link at the top didn't go for a second bite.

Well, once again the disappointing thing about this is that according to their carefully worded response, any survey results that they disagree with, they can simply reject in the same way that they reject a large percentage of the on-line complaints made against them. Like all the big (untouchable) companies they puff themselves up to ignore the true public opinion about themselves. So in conclusion a fake survey about a fake corporation that produces fake news to suit their selected audience, in part paid for by people who object to paying them to not watch their output, added to unspecified amounts of finance from an undeclared non-UK source who actually control their output.

I thought I mentioned something about that a fortnight ago.

Btw - current 'Royal charter', if you can find anything relating to it I would be very interested.

Supposedly funded by BBC World but as they refuse to release accounts for BBC World the UK license payer has no idea what they are paying for, assuming they are happy to pay in the first place, which obviously I am not.

BBC World News has (as far back as I recall) always been a free service, on multiple satellites.

Yes but that is a very small part of BBC World, in the same way, Sky News is a free worldwide coverage
