Hi, I have been making the fence higher for more privacy today, in between showers gales and hail storms, I am just going to put some bamboo screening on it, hopefully it will last until the conifers grow :).

I just need some tie wraps to fix it.

This will be the end result, I will have to finish it tomorrow, once the creepers and sweat peas get going it should look great :) as much as I love wood pigeons I don't want them eating my plants when they start coming through, the cable ties should prevent them from landing on this side of the fence,

Just taking another rain break,

I made a mistake fitting the first bit veridical, its trying to slide out of the wire, I have decided to leave it and if I have any left from doing the other side I will put some over it horizontal, this time next year/this year it will be covered with climbing plants so its no hard ship,

I will go and start the other side shortly:).

The fence is finished now, just a bit at the top of the garden to tidy up with the screening, I was going to install proper solar powered lights, but decided to go hard wired, garden lights tomorrows project :)

...... it will be nice to get more channels and see what she can do......

Def correct but I bet you will not actually watch the channels as such....I find, like today, that your captured channels from the far eastern and western sats reveal a different culture to ours and I personally find that so interesting......cannot understand a word they are saying but great video....almost feel like I am in a time warp. :D:D

That garden of yours is looking superb....you have done so well....ta for sharing the pics with us M. respect-048.gif

Many thanks LP,

To be honest I don't watch anything on my setup only the odd football game, my hobby is chasing weak signals and feeds,

My viewing is on the wife's tv to the left, my setup is to the right is just hobby:)

This should give you an idea of my view, please excuse my living room, this will be another project soon:)

Similar setup Martin.........watching my beloved Real Madrid (me prepping in the kitchen and the odd sip of whisky) whilst the lady of the house watches 'The Voice'.....works well on evening matches.
Not a permanent feature as after I have finished the fooball the TV goes back to my 'Satellite Office'. :D

Great that we can enjoy the hobby and still be near.

Great stuff LP :), I now have some wireless headphones so I don't disturb the wife if I do want to watch something:), when I continue with the living room project both tvs will be hidden and only seen when in use, the tvs will disappear in to the alcove units, I still have one to make on the wife's side when I get round to the living room project, this is some more of my work , the fire surround was also made by me :).

I've been and picked up the cable for the lights not cheap but it needs to be safe, I could have got away with 1mm for the lights but I will be fitting and outdoor plug socket on one end for the mower and any other electrical item I will be using so I went for 1.5mm, I wont have enough here but I will install what I have and see how much more I need when the rain stops:(.

I am very pleased with the outcome

Having looked at the photo's, is there any truth in the rumour that Sheffield Wednesday are using your back garden if their floodlights fail?

I am glad you said Wednesday Pete and not that other team in Sheffield :), it must be quite bright the camera on the roof turns to colour with the security light on as well.

Some of the flower bulbs have started to show in the border, and I have a few sweet peas come through that I planted in the greenhouse, I never thought I would like gardening but I am loving it :)
