Thank you :), once the mount is made and the dish is fixed, I can let the dish flop front to back and test it with my fishing scales what pull it is, then I can look more into it, many thanks.

hi friends :) I was looking at some of the sat equipment on this site. I checked for their shipping terms & noticed this. Quote "Our systems come with a 1 year Parts & Labor Guarantee "Equipment is only usable in the United States, we can only accept orders to be shipped in the USA". Hopefully that policy has changed but it should be verified. http://www.satellitedish.com/logme.html look way down list @ terms&conditions.

I really hope these folks are still in business & on the up&up. If they ship international I might just buy some stuff from them. they have some VERY interesting stuff on their site.

I gave them a call about 2 months ago and he told me shipping to Canada wasn't an issue.

Resurrecting an old thread - anyone found any reliable sources for reasonably priced ball screw jacks that won't cost the price of the actuator to ship to Yoorop? Is it only Thompson and Venture that do them?

Hi Alex, in post 50 onwards was the best I found with some reassurance of parting with my money, I did not check shipping with rick though, but piece of mind from Costactc:)

See what price he comes up with Alex, with the size and weight it we might not save anything by the time its got here and me/you have shipped the other to each other, I do need one asap , summer house will be finished in the next 2 weeks and the dish needs to go up then:).
