Just flicking through and left a receiver on VH1 Europe on C+ (Spain).

And so far 1 hour of music videos with NO adverts.

So purely subscription funded then?

So why adverts on VH1 UK? (apart from "Greedy Sky!"

I guess European versions don't really have a target audience/country, hence no adverts.

Not just greedy Sky but Vermin and BT as well, since they (probably) carry these channels.

No doubt the same applies to many other channels, when you compare foreign providers to Sky UK.
I was shocked, when told by a friend, that when watching TCM, classic movie channel, there were advertisements, during films, yet on other satellites, like 19.2E, there weren't.
I can watch episodes of Law & Order, on Calle 13, without advertisements, I wonder if Sky customers can say the same?
