Would guess this would be on the Middle East beam as the European Beam looks from the charts to be really strong? Any thoughts?

I am afraid it is Europe beam since i get it in nord part of Europe.

I would say its on the Mena beam.
The TP was received in the UK & north of Europe ; it's impossible to be on the MENA beam .

Not in testing ive seen it before, there is not enough peeps in the uk shouting up for it to be on the Europe beam, anyhow I am getting into a debate thats just my opinion :).

Getting 7.9 dB south east UK. It's been showing black level for the past few hours.

Getting 7.3 dB East coast of Ireland 1.1 m dish and Dr HD receiver. Black screen here as well.
I did a google search for IHTV1 and it gives results for previous feeds on 57 East, 3 East and 4 West.

Yep, i searched too and found reports at lyngat and flysat for feeds with similar range, sr and fec at 4W Middle east beam but it cannot be Amos for sure. Very strange.

So, this may be an uplink intended for Amos-3 Middle East beam, also being received by ABS-3A using the same uplink frequencies.
Looks like Amos and ABS have some mutual coordination to do!

Since everyone receives with about 8 dB, this is a hint the signal has a relative high noise floor already at the ABS-3A receiving end. That noise is also transmitted. Hence the low dB via Europe beam.

55% on the 1.8 here Europe beam should be a lot stronger, Mena beams give me around 55% around the arc.

Again martin-f, IHTV1 is not intended to be on ABS-3A.
It's also much too early for regular use, the in-orbit testing has hardly started yet.

Sorry hvdh, i will shut up then and let you carry on :).
I could only repeat post #50 to you, would that help? ;)
Furthermore, 3°W is half shaded on my dish, so won't be saying much more in this thread...

I understand what your saying but its been broadcasted on a beam, the forum is for discussion and was just having an opinion to what beam it was being transmitted on, obviously this is not allowed so once again i will shut up for the final time and leave you with it.

I don't think you understand what is/was going on. So I will shut up and have a bad mood now. :(

Maybe someone can translate this ?
this is propbably the name of the channel , instead of the ID "IHTV 1"
