Something a little different from the usual propaganda vids from this channel
A north Korean "spectacular" .... only came in during the second half of this but decided to record it anyway (its still almost 30 mins long) .....

edit .. link starts about a third of the way into the video for some reason ??

Looks like its the celebration of the 9th Gathering of the North Korean Youth League.

I miss North Korean TV on 10E - it was brilliant having it there for a few days a few years back :(

Amazing...

Gee - I was just about to post a substantial message, then I realised that it would with guarantee not stand up to even the lightest of scrutiny for being a severely politically-attuned message, and as per forum rules this is of course wholly inappropriate...

So let me instead just repeat:

Amazing - in so may ways...

Thought I'd try it again here - and it came in with decent signal.

What are the tuning details for this one? Can't see it listed on any of the main listing sites. Would like to have a go at it!

On an roughly aligned LNB, it was reading about 6.6dB on the F15. I don't like my Titanium - it seems to get better signals on one probe than another. So I had to rotate the LNB 90 degrees and swap polarities in the receiver to get it.

Need to test out a couple of other one I have lying around.

My Titanium also did not do so well for this channel ... it was always just on or below the threshold ..... never tried doing what you did though ....
results are much better using an ESX 241 ... average around 7.0 db with F15 here .

Good to hear that I am not the only one with this issue on Tits. I have a BCS (or is it BSC?) and a bunch of others, though quite old - not sure if the even work. Probably from analogue days.

My getting quite old Astrotel way outperforms the Tit on my setup...a very overrated LNB in my opinion.

These are the ones I have - not sure if they'll be any better or worse than the Tit.

BSC421 - on the 1.2m CM, I was getting slightly better signals with the Tit, so I stuck with it. Might be a different story on the 1.8m.

The "Yuri" one, which came from you I believe. Seems to be a dual C/Ku one.

A single polarity Norsat one attached to a Chaparral feedhorn/OMT.

I can't find any ESX ones, except from the States - same with Zinwell ones. SSS sell some but at rather high prices - no idea what make/model they are, though.

.... checked this last night and this morning as well, slightly higher signal this morning.
Screen grabs with % readings are off TM5502 rx, spectrum dB reading off Promax FSM.

BSC421 has always been best performer in general on my dishes , i only took it off the CM 1.8 to use on the Prodelin 3m and again it was the best on that dish ... Titanium was nothing special on the Prodelin
My second BSC421 is spare again at the moment .. maybe i should try it back on the 1.8 c.m. and see if it will outperform the ESX for this channel ?

??? .. Maybe just ....
It would be borderline i think ...
I can receive here with a C band l.n.b. about 5 - degrees off centre on a 1.8 offset Channel master ... + a small amount off loss of view at the bottom of the dish due to a perimeter wall.
