Yep, the short answer is they’re not for Russia - they are pretty much certainly being used to feed DTT transmitters in Russian-occupied parts of Ukraine. The multiplex data and channel service IDs match Ukrainian DTT exactly, so no retune will have been required for the Russian propaganda to be visible on Ukrainian TVs and decoders.

I’ve read in the past couple of days that Ukrainian TV is receivable again in Kherson, maybe something has been set up on the Ukrainian-controlled side to beam into the city.

NTV Mir on 10977has scanned in this evening althoughits not displaying anything on my TM5403 - the signal strength is bouncing up & down.

There is also another NTV Mir appearted on 11111H 3108

And as I typed that it appeared for a few seconds on 10977H! Just long enough to grab a screenie



(Again ignore the 31.5W orbital location - thats just a blank slot I used to add 14W into the receiver!)

Signal strength has come right up now so 10977H is an easy catch - if you want to log it now is a good time to try for it.

I was checking that bird tonight and ive watched "ТЫ СУПЕР!" on NTV Mir (10977H) what a luck i also saw that signal was flactuating a lot from 9db to 5db and up again.

Russian Muxes at 14.0W are easily received with neumoDVB under Linux.

There are many Russian channels on Hotbird. I tried to watch the main stations. The receiver said : ERROR.
Then I tried the usual news channels in English: Euronews, Aljazeera... The receiver also showed: ERROR
I had to reboot the receiver. Then I tried this again. Same outcome.
I can watch all other channels after reboot. But one dares not to go to the Russian brainwashing channels...

Ok. What is interesting is how the receiver reacts. I could not watch any channel after trying those Russian channels. I had to reboot for some minutes.

Can someone here try this: look at Russian news channels on Hotbird. Then check if you have to reboot the receiver to be able to watch any channel after that.
That is my experience.

A free VPN will do the job of brainwashing, if you speak Russian.



My receivers do not need to reboot if I choose one of the stopped Russian channels.

It's interesting that channels like NTV Mir are still airing Germany-targeted adverts like before. I wonder if that many people are still watching there.

seeminly aimed at,and paid for by,the Russian diaspora in Germany,over a million people!
They surely haven 't evaporated ,look at their demos in many German cities on May 9th!!!

Watching Russian TV channels is very useful because their journalists watch American TV channels and tell us interesting news from the USA.
