I seemed to me strange in the first place ... this cannot be as it coincides with Nilesat 201's 11.727 H.
In the morning hours 201 comes in very weak and 11.742 H could have been "a ghost reflection" from Eutelsat 7WA's 10.892 H off Nilesat 301..
Will try to observe tomorrow again.

Channel master 180 dish installation project

Hi! Last year i bought nice Channel master 180 dish (it is 200 x 185 cm). I don´t have any mast yet, so this year i want to make one. On the pictures you can see my planes. What do you thing about this setup? The telescopic part is there because i dont know exactly the height of the garden house...

Going to put the old lnb back on when the weather improves, and have a good play around, only getting 85% signal on sky news 1 west as i write this, but i did say to leave it peaked on 7 west, so going to have a play with the old LNB at a later point

I did suggest taking pictures fom the side, in case you have a warp that others can confirm from the imagery.

ill check, ill see if i can go up and check, but im sure its a 1.2 metre, as it replaced a 1 metre dish that i still have, and it was alot bigger than the older one i had

Just had a look here - at 11411 H .... with 1.2 cm .... but i,m way out of range up here in the " North West" - no lock at 7.2 d.b. ... here so a little under 1.0 db short - according to Lyngsat .

A wasted exercise if your installer has already confirmed the dimensions.

It is the first time you have mentioned the dish face was replaced, how long ago ? and where would the old reflector be now in case you have to reinstall ?

Here's the frequency / Channel check you requested for 0.8W for Sky News.
Meter marker on 12.418 V ~ No carrier present at the time of grab and now 9.25am.

Brain fart occurrence took place on that grab - 18v somehow got up the coax and switched the lnbf to H... doh
Here's the propper grab ... 1.2m CM, North Notts, cheap Universal lnbf.

Pretty certain its just a North / South footprint issue ... always had difficulties with 7 West up here

Alignment etc seems good ... screen shot of sky news at 1.0 west below ....

This was many years ago, 20 i would say, for a few years i has a 1 metre dish, then it was upgraded with a 1.2 metre, i can see out of the window it says made in the usa and it states its a 1.2 metre, getting a picture of it is hard, but ill try.

Now last night was watched mbc 3 on 7 west, for the first time, why i have no idea, it was perfect, this morning its freezing and blocking again, which i can understand as the signal at night will travel better, and the lnb is colder.
