33East FOX Turk

I live in WestMidlands and have an 80cm dish but this is what's happening....

Basically the signal is fine around 60% but then it goes upto around 80% and then starts pixelating for around 1 second.

No there are two on Turksat, one that i can receive no problem but the one i want you cant receive in europe. Therefore i need to receive it on Eurobird 33e but it is being queer.

Hi there Rage9, i'm a fellow midlander and it's turning out to be a real swine.

I've got an 80cm solid with a 0.3db lnb connected upto a TM 1000D and i get an unwatchable picture. Think it may have a bit to do with alignment.

Shame, this channel will be the one for free prem footy this season. It seems ok at night.

Well mate if u have a Technomate then you should be ok with Premiere to watch the footie.

Looks like it must be to do with our location aswell.

Premiere do not have the EPL as their primary league now as they have just got hold of the rights to the bundesliga.

Wouldn't suprise me if they changed encryption codes on Saturday either.

I've managed to tweak my dish on disequ 1.2 and it's coming in at 70% quality now, no break up.

I think he means that "primary" now being bundesilga at 3pm. with only one match from epl at 3pm

Is the foxturk we are talking about 11777 v on 42east?

If so, this fta version of foxturk is loud and clear where I am ...anyway....only 30 mins or so to find out

On Turksat (42E), Fox Turk only broadcasts the footie on the Eastern beam (frequency 12022H) - not the Western beam (frequency 11779V). The Eastern beam cannot be recieved in Europe.

Therefore the only way to get this channel in Europe is via Eurobird (33e).

Yes that is correct, cloud = water vapour, water attenuates microwave signals. In other words 80 cm dish is just not big enough. You could try carefully fine tuning but you may not improve the situation.

For starters dont type all in capitals - its considered SHOUTING....

Cant help with the frequency problem but what size dish are you using?

Dont get your hopes up - the football is extremely unreliable on this channel - they tend to turn the power right down for a couple of hours and everyone loses signal lock!

On 33e I'm only getting two channels, skyDSL/cableDSL and map tv, If I tweak the dish would I receive Fox Turk

the skyDSL/cable is on 11513h
the map is on 11596v
