I was getting Kuban TV on 11490 V 5788 earlier this evening but gone by the time I got to write this.
Not the best of signals, only 50% or there abouts.

I've had this occasionally before but it never stays long...

Thank you for the information, I did lock a feed from this bird a few years ago, and I do keep having a go for it, only yesterday TBH no luck , I will make a note of the tp and have a go for it

Tried but not a whiff with a 1.5. Foot print way off from here.

Yes I guess being more East has a much better chance of receiving that Bird.

Out of curiosity, do you get any of the other transponders on the same beam (Spot 1 Wide) as Kuban TV ?

I was getting Rostov-Papa on 11072 V 2170 last winter, which was a much stronger signal than Kuban TV, but that transponder is now gone.

flysat's reception map misses both Aberdeen and Syros and satbeams' one catches Aberdeen with a 100cm dish and misses Syros completely.

Here's a scan I just made.
Note the peak at 11491 V of Kuban 24, but no lock because it went off air for the night just before blindscan!
Nika TV is only slightly weaker than Kuban 24.
But IS-904 signals are erratic, they may be easy (or hard) for weeks with no apparent reason.

11567 V 10000 is a new frequency for RuSat package, before it was on 11159 V that never locked.

The Rikor packages at 11635 V and 11675 V are FTA for several weeks already.

Well I receive the most transponders of is904 (Spot 1 Wide) some with stable reception , some others not.

I also receive FTA Ricor package freq. 11635 V and 11675 V.

But Ricor package will cease all his transmitions by the end of this month , that's why still remains FTA.

10973 V 3330 3/4, 5.7 dB: TV 100
11491 V 5786 3/4, 5.7 dB: Kuban 24
11513 V 2616 3/4, 6.7 dB: Nika TV

Getting a slight sniff here, Kuban 24 11490 V 5788 well under lock but room for improvement weather wise, I will keep an eye on it when conditions improve.

We all know you will have a 1.8 Alex , it just a matter of time your just like me and cant wait to get your hands on one, when I get mine all set up I will set my slingbox up so you can have a play, it might move you on a little quicker .

Nika moved from 11512 V to 11516 V some time ago and the trp has also 11519 V DVB-S2/QPSK ACM 729 3/4. Because of that the power was reduce drastically and hardly lockable on my side with 120 cm. Kuban 24 is a little bit stronger....
