Hello, any hopes of getting more than now-next epg on BBC\ITV? Using an old (but very good) Vantage HD 8000S, it's got a 1TB hd that I may want to put to more use. 7 days epg & recording works fine on Astra 19.

The seven/eight day EPG for Platforms like Sky and Freesat is sent on dedicated Data Streams intended to be read only by Authorised Platform Receivers.

Thanks for the info, when anything is really impossible I can rest peacefully :O)
Looking into the future, any available good receivers which are authorized for the epg ?

Well there are ways of getting the full EPG via plugins for some Linux Receivers: But that data comes via the Interweb, not OTA.

As for boxes specified to the relevant Platform, there are plenty of cheap Freesat boxes available.

The Humax Freesat PVRs are well regarded, but if you look at Joinfreesat.co.uk you can see the full current range of relevant kit.
