Definately one of the most difficult DXs I've ever managed..
Generally Nothing locks on this bird ..but for a few all too brief seconds around 7pm ..
Just enough signal to get a lock long enough to perform a scan ..and snap a couple of pics.
..All too quickly ..it was gone again.
At the time I had 3.9db
But fluctuates wildly ..occasionally tempting me with lock again for fractions of seconds ..
Still ..I think this deserves an award..
It wasn't easy.

well done VS its hard to get anything from this sat,i used to get cholusat with good strenth but nothing at the moment are you still receiving it if so it must be very week.cheers

No chance of lock atm Pride..3.3 >2.4 db and needs at least 3.9 ..4.1for sporadic lock..
I'll be trying again around 6:30PM >7:30PM this evening.
Only problem is the clouds are thickening ..but promised clear again toward weekend.

Signal quality is quite strong on this side of the pond for Intelsat 11. When performing a blind scan on this satellite it's advisable to search for only free channels as over 200 scan in, of which 15 are unencrypted. Here's a list of the open channels I scanned in last week:

I got this channels too and one data transponder with 1.5 m dish .
Indeed the signal is maintained around 4 dB.Fortunately even if it is low,the image is stable.

Seems like Intelsat 11 is slightly stronger, usually only get 2-3 txp, now both V and H.
Received 3 H and 4 V txp, most of it is unfortunately coded.

Arandu is no more there. Unicanal and Tigo sports. I have another nice catch- Azteca int.HD.

This satellite is a PITA. The only TP I am getting a hint of signal on is 3994H but no lock...
