The old thread has run its course so now lets concentrate on Astra 1N testing and eventual entry into service at 28E
It's just that the TLE is out of date. The satellite put the brakes on at 1.8ºE, but n2yo still has it moving east at 1.5º/day.Llew said:Passed the temporary bus stop. Does she have a reverse gear?![]()
Are you sure that's not from 1C?Llew said:Four blank carriers here, no data, around 1.8E -
There was a legal case about this about a million years ago. Both Astra and Eutelsat claimed the slot so it ended up being shared. AS knows the details.dvdfilm said:Just out of curiosity.Don't forget there's also Eurobird at 28.2 E. Does Eutelsat have an exclusive over that part of spectrum? Does that mean Astra 1N(and the future new Astras) won't be able to switch on the frequencies overlapping with those of Eurobird?
