pretty much looks like a copy of 11.008V - so this one will move to high band as well.

Those are not yet on ASTRA 2E. They will move soon. Can you receive Channel 5 ?

My BBC One NI HD prior to transfer to 2E had signal quality levels all over the place, averaging around 50-55% with some break up in worse than average rainfalls. It's now a solid 71-73% and hasn't blinked once since Wednesday with the downpours we've had here. It's now on a par with those on the 2F spot beam, maybe 2-3% lower at times.

I think they have to confirm the Freesat Home Transponder can be transfered to Astra 2e/2f/ without any issues, not yet convinced on that. If the frqeuency has to change then may be more complicated for Freesat boxes that as far as I can tell can't change their Home (default) Transponder unlike Sky boxes.

I can't imagine this issue has taken Freesat by surprise, so must assume that either a straight migration of 11428 H "as is" can be implemented or a firmware update can be sent to cause the boxes to look at another Data source.

If I were a betting man, the former must be a odds-on favourite.

Well the query is now with the Freesat Tech team to answer, wonder how long it will take them to answer. Humax were not interested said it's a Freesat problem (infers they are not updating firmware to fix it).

I'd thought of that, but should have thought that 2A isn't of high enough integrity to be the medium-term home for such a vital resource. But you never know!

it is on 2A, but I dont know whether north or south, solly or someone who can distinguish those could have a look.
