^^^Thanks, as written earlier I tried, but can't figure anything out from the charts, on my testing receiver (which got a good linear measuring, %'s continue below picture lock) 2F uk goes from around 85% midday to 10% evenings. Dish alignment etc does nothing, signal just goes away, I could as well have been located in Moscow for some evening hours. Anyway, no problem, only channel I'd use from 2F is BBC 4 hd.

2E uk has an evening drop as well but just slight, stays well within lock apart from just a few days so far this year (weather?).

This is my theory. In Finland I see different variations depending on which satellites I'm looking at and also at different locations in Finland.

Satellite A reception cuts out at some point during the daily cycle whereas Satellite B keeps a decent lock.

Yes, makes sense. In the schematic above: A = how 2F uk behaves here, B = 2E uk.

2e uk in good shape here. Apart for a few evening 'beyond reception' scares it's been very stable.

Currently am particularly happy for having ITV4, the Isle of Man TT programs. Great :O)

Some of FTA channels has moved to Astra 2E Uk beam ;( That is causing problems here in Norway Drammen area. I get channels on 11390 v 2/3 27500 on evening. SNR is 4.8db -27 % guess that to low. BBC and ITV SD channels are 6db. I have Triax 110cm with maxium 0.2 db quad lnb. it many years old . Will it help with inverto LNB or Opticum Premium Quad LNB 0,1db ? Or do i need bigger dish ?

Whilst a new lnb may help there is absolutely no substitute for more metal collecting the transmitted signal.

And to get decent rain fade allowance you may need to go up 2 or 3 dish sizes.

Btw how big dish u use to get 36e ? Do u get all channels ?

Dont hold your breath for the Indian channels to move onto Europe beams. Which channels are you parrticularly interested in - they may be available elsewhere.

About 28.2, do try some different lnb's and adjust the setup, signal may improve by a few %'s which may be enough to keep a lock on some channels. Don't expect miracles. My experimentations with 28.2, with some luck and finetuning am gaining a few %'s of improvement\quality chosing some lnb over another, but very small fish compared to what a large dish does.

Very bad reception of 2G UK-beam right now. The verticals are very very low (they are usually the strongest). 11053 H breaking up.
Might be caused by the activation of 11082 H and 11112 H on the European beam? Maybe I ought to try some skew adjustment.

If you need to, try the inverto black ultra or the opticum.
They also work very well with a larger dish, so no money wasted...

Got Inverto Quad Black Ultra delivered today from hm-sat . Getting 2-3db more than my old LNB . Have 97% signal's on some channels.

Will do some more tests in coming weeks
