According to n2yo AB7 has been stationary at 13.2°W for over a day now. I'm not sure if they're going to begin testing soon (or already have) but it seems likely before she takes up position at 7°W. I can receive H and V transponders from the Nilesat cluster most days and tried a blind scan at 13.2°W yesterday but only got results from 12.5°W.

Just wondered if anyone else had had a look? (Maybe with one of those fancy PC receiver cards that displays donuts LOL)

Thanks for that Llew, I don't look at that thread very often (not having a card like that or even a pc into which I could install one). I take it that there isn't actually any test transmissions yet, like colour bars or the like?

No, invariably just blank carriers during testing. Today, there's one blank carrier which may or may not be AB7; could I suppose be something off of AB1, but it does have all the hallmarks of an AB7 analogue test carrier -

Completed testing. It's on its way to 7W, where I'll lose it here of course.

You never know. It might be another 5e scenario. I couldn't get much off 5e nordic bem until the newest satellite was sent there. It booms in now. Just a case of wait and see i think :D

True enough nano. We do get some odd results sometimes with some apparently out of footprint sats :)
