My Satellite Setup
1.2m CM dish with elevation jack, Supermount 1224 H-H rotator, Octagon SX88+, DR.HD D15, GT Media Combo, Ku PLL LNB, C Band: Titanium C1W-PLL, Ka Band: XMW R9216AF with FD9000 feedhorn, Inverto Saorsat LNB and Inverto Ka/Ku LNB . Zone 2 dish pointing at 28E with Octagon SF8008.

Just done a scan of my local PSB-3 and find there's two versions of BBC One HD running with different SIDs but very similar otherwise. I will check what happens at regional news time.

Keen observers of the sat-back mux on 27.5W will notice, BBC One NE & Cumbria HD has been added in preparation for the roll out of the regional versions of BBC One in HD on Freeview. 27.5W is still being used while they build the new mast at Bilsdale.

It looks like Wednesday the 22nd March the regional versions of BBC One HD will be rolled out. Pop up message has appeared on my Samsung TV

BBC One HD in England will be regionalised in two groups:

March 22nd:
Yorkshire
East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire
East Midlands
West Midlands
London
Channel Islands

April 26th:
North East & Cumbria
North West
East
West
South East
South West
South

BBC One HD will move to channel number 1 on Freeview Play devices and televisions, will remain on 101 for all others.

BBC1 NW transmitted the local programme at 6:30 in HD for the first time tonight. It may have been active for the lunchtime broadcast but I wasn't watching to confirm.

I really don't know why it's taken so long as the studio and HD equipment used is exactly the same as used for the Breakfast programme in the morning. Politics obviously.
