Which National Geographic are you talking about mate. Its on virtually every Satellite up there :-sugar

If you have a look in Var/Etc on either 500 or 7020 you will find a file called cccam.cfg, you might be able to figure it out from there :D

I don't use CCcam so i couldn't tell you how to set it up but it should get you on your way if you look in the file.

I hope this will help
CCcam and cardsharing

To configurate and connect the CCcam, you need to go to the ETC folder and edit the
CCcam.cfg file. The CCcam config file itself is a little help file. Indeed, you will find many text
lines starting with #. These lines provide help to set the CCcam, and there is no need to
delete them as they are ignored by CCcam. Therefore, they can also be used to add any note
or comment.
The configuration lines can be written in any order. There is no standard order to respect.
Indeed, when started, CCcam reads the first character of each line and executes the request.
Let’s look at each line syntax now.
F: Friends
F: user1 pass1 1
C: Connect
C: server.dyndns.org 12000 user1 pass1
The C line (where C stands for connect) enables the CCcam to connect to another server
The URL or IP after C: is necessary to identify the server in the sharing network. 12000 is the
port used by the server to communicate and user1 pass1 identify the user
Note: each user is accepted only once by the server
How to connect a client to a server:
The F line launches the server, whilst the C line launches the client, and this is all you need.
Should the client wish to share its subscription cards with the server, then you need to add a
C line at the server, and an F line at the client.
Log Diagnostic
Should you wish to check whether the connections are working properly, then use the CCcam
–dv Telnet command. This option will give you the possibility to check the log and make sure
all is ok.It may be useful for beginners to do it with Telnet, and, once experienced, it may also
be done using the the automatic script found in the blue panel.

There are quite a few threads about card sharing problems. There is also a tutorial about card sharing in the guide section. If you have a specific question that is not covered yet, then you need to tell us. Also, what have you been doing so far, what happened, etc etc. If you want help, you got to help us help you :)

Ok guys, a few pointers to get started.

1. Read my guide 5 times.
2. Don't be scared by the CCcam.cfg file , its contains loads of info you don't need
3. If you want to share 1 box to another , your config files are just 1 or 2 lines thats all.

First of all you need to use a space between the command and the switch.
use
Code:
CCcam -dv
instead of
Code:
CCcam-dv
You may also need to use the full version name i.e. to start CCcam from the command line I would need to type CCcam_2.1.1

To find it on your system, run the following command.

Code:
 find / | grep CCcam
Its probably in /usr/bin/ or /var/bin/, but your file structure may differ from that of the dreambox

Yes, but are you even sure that the file binary file is called CCcam?

As I already mentioned, find the file by running ....

Code:
find / | grep CCcam

Not really. That will only find files called 'CCcam'. It wont for example find a file called CCcam_2.1.1 or CCcam_2.1.0 or whatever. Which is how they will be named by default.

This is not windows - file names are case sensitive to start with. Further spaces cannot be imitted. So type the following EXACTLY is it is

find / -name CCcam*

Dont leave spaces out or insert any spaces and CAPS ARE REQUIRED

You can just copy the commands from this webpage and paste them into your telnet sessions console.
