In Morocco (2M channel), it was definitely not D12. It was rather TUDI14, probably the most complex line delay scrambling variant there is. It used very long scrambling patterns (in the magnitude of tens of fields IIRC) and data signaling in active video lines, pretty much like VideoCrypt S.yes alex !
in france there is still some old original D11 decoder , this add-on board is to generate a discret encoded video to make our old decoder (home made DIY decoder) alive !
the picture above is D11 decoder used in france in nineties , it also exist D12 (similar to sky decoder sva1) in swisserland belgium morroco and iceland !!!

I spent some time trying to decode this but due to YT compression and the fact that it has been resized to 480 pix in height makes it difficult to analyse. I may look at it another day but am parking it for now.Can anyone decrypt this old 1987 BBC Select engineering test in Discret11?
