Last week my friend found this 1.2m in perfect condition. He found it by the dumpsters. It's without arms and LNB holder. Does anyone have experience with this dish?

Nice dish, congratulations! I have one brand new, never installed, even it more than 30 years old. Polar mount and feedarms are also present. Can measure the feedarms during the weekend and measure them.

Edit: I think we already spoke about the same dish some time ago. So, you have all the data you need Old Satellite Dish

Thanks for your reply and time with measure the feedarms. Problem will may be with LNB holder. This one is really nice without any damage.

Feedarms are 1005mm and 690mm long (measured from the end to the mounting hole), made of 18,5mm aluminum tubes. If I install this antenna someday, I will make completely new feedarms and universal LNB-holder. IMG_20230805_141522a.jpg

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

From the earlier conversation the other dish (o/p's) had feed arms, so why not copy them ?

Agree with you partially. Taking in account that original LNB holder is designed for 23mm LNB-neck, you need new LNB-holder anyway. But making LNB-holder for existing feedarms (open ends of 18,5mm tubes) is pain in the a*s, it is much easier to create completely new setup (feedarms + LNB-holder). Moreover, if new feedarms have length-adjustment possibility, then all assembly will look, and also work, more sexy.

Removing the plastic of many Universal LNBs provides an alloy shell of close to 23mm.

Agree with you @Channel Hopper , but not many users like stripped LNBs :)
