Dreambox 7000S Wireless USB Dongle

Hi All,

Can any one confirm is possible to use Wireless USB Dongle with Dreambox 7000S?

If it is possible then can you please recommend which Wireless USB Dongle are compatiable with Dreambox 7000S.

Also Is it easy to setup on Dreambox.

I had search through forms but getting confused more and more.

sorry at the moment it is not possible but u could use a w-bridge to connect to ur box which ia at the moment the most effective.

I need info please if you can use a wireless rooter with dm7000s. I was hoping to try something like this. Install a USB adopter so I could still use the 512 USB memory stick, and attach to this adopter also, the wireless link USB unit to talk to the wireless rooter.

Again, could anyone please tell me if this is possible? It's mainly to have a broadband 24/7 connection

Hi,

I have a wireless router connected to my Dreambox but I use my USB pluged into the Dreambox USB port only to store other images/cams/settings, etc. I do not think that you could connect a USB to the router as it only has RJ45 connectors and not a USB port.

There is no problem to use a wireless router with your Dreambox.
But you`ll need a dongle with å RJ45 connection and powersuply from the usb or exstern powersupply (5V)
