Hi guys.

Just a quick question.

I'm looking at getting a satellite system set up at home, and was wondering which box was better at getting?

I've been looking at playing about with the technomate for a while, and know quite a lot about setting that up to be able to view a "few channels" :-bigsanta

But was wondering what the dreambox was like for being able to set up? Can you see the same channels on this, or do you get less/more?

I've heard that the dreambox is a linux system, so does this mean you get any benefits over the technomate standard? What about over the technomate linux box?

What would people recommend to get? The technomate or the dreambox? Or another?

Thanks a lot for the help :)

Dreambox mate - any day of the week.
They need a little more love and patience to get up and running, but they're very well supported and offer many very useful features over and above the TM.
If you're looking at a basic set-up, then there are some good clones you can pick up from under a £1er.

I would definately reccomend any dreambox model over the TM9100, although they are technically similar, the Dreambox has far superior support/software.
