If the dish is misaligned sufficiently it could just be a heavy rainshower out to the south east has moved out of the way.
well the european beam channels are back so im guessing the water came off the lnb cap?
it was like it on previous box so it just a case of me fine tuning the dish next weekendA replacement Sky HD box with issues at 11568 MHz eh ?
maybe i just need to check alignment because it might need fine tuning right? If the dish is misaligned sufficiently it could just be a heavy rainshower out to the south east has moved out of the way.

we dont have a dect phone and i know the satellite cable is okay so its just means that my dish needs fine tuningMr. Hopper is referring to DECT phone interference .... And that would perhaps explain why your issue has been experienced by both the old and the replacement boxes.
Such interference exploits poorly screened cable and wall-plates.
Turn off your DECT phone base and take the handsets as far away as possible and check if the problem has magically disappeared.
i dont know but the quality is back on european beam channelsHave next door got one?
Surely everyone has Cordless Phones in the house these days?
Not just DECT kit, poorly fitted f plugs and sometimes the cable itself failing.Mr. Hopper is referring to DECT phone interference .... And that would perhaps explain why your issue has been experienced by both the old and the replacement boxes.
