I've now swopped back to my modified white titanium and I am getting around 4% stronger signal than I get with my Invacom.

Just now this is what I'm getting. Thin high cloud.

Code:
Al Sabah 10998 V 2532 3/4 41%
BRG 11145 V 2500 3/4 28% no lock
Channel 11 (Orient News) 11368 H 2100 3/4 44%
Egypt 1 11635 H 2200 3/4 38%

Radio channels on 11040 V 1536 3/4 84%
Assirat 11152 V 2200 3/4 13% no lock

I suspect this will get even better tonight. I was getting Assirat and BRG last night with the Invacom.

Hi again all,

I managed to get a lock on another transponder/channel last night... the lock was very unstable and continuously froze and displayed the 'No Audio/Video' message... but I just managed to get a few pictures during the brief instances when the lock did hold...

11.146V [2500] 3/4 DVB-S QPSK [Wide Beam]

Al Masar TV Al Oula (Iraq) [VPID 0308/APID 0256/PPID 8190] FTA

Signal Strength 94%

I have attached pictures below...

Up this morning just before 5 and noticed that 11585 was visible so left EBS running on a loop while I went to work. This is the resulting ini file, the last entry is Blue Nile probably on 26°E but I think the rest are 25.5E although there are a few identical feed entries on both satellites on Flysat.

Interesting that 11560H from BADR 5 was locked, not heard of anything from that sat being picked up in the UK before.

Hi again all,

The DVB-S2 8PSK signal on the following transponder had gradually increased over the last 3 days... but still not enough for my dish/receiver to get a signal lock... however I am sure one of you guys with a 1.8m would now be able to lock this transponder... any chance of one of you checking this...?

11.142V [1120] 3/4 DVB-S2 8PSK MPEG-4 [Wide Beam]

OTV Lebanon [VPID 0049/APID 0052/PPID 0049] FTA

TM 5402 HD CI+ Super+
Signal Strength 96%
Signal Quality 65%

**No Signal Lock**

If this were a normal DVB-S signal... I think it would be easily achievable with a 1.2m Fibo...

Best Wishes,
Zorch

picture kept freezing for long periods for me here at 6-15 this evening ( sat )

Just wondering if anyone is still getting anything from this one, i seem to have lost all signals from it, even the radio package on 11039V that was giving around 70% seems to have gone. Is it just me or is it the same for everyone else?

I noticed the other night that the radio stations transponder had dropped a bit but there were a couple of TV stations still available on my 1.2, can't remember which ones though, out gigging atm but can check in the morning.

Perhaps I have little bit better coverage but I have pretty good reception of limited number of TV and radio channels from Eurobird 2 @ 25,5*E on 1,5m PFA

I usually get the radio package at around 70%, Al Sirat on 11146V is usually around 45%, same for the feeds on or around 11065V, and sporadic reception of Orient news on 11640H. Just had a look now and the radio package is back with a signal, but only weak, jumping in and out, up to about 35%, but nothing else received at this time.

Just checked my memories for this one and currently have 11039V, 11152V and 11585V. The radio stations are definitely weaker than before but still registering strongly on my system, 11152 is a good lock with occasional breakup and 11585 is locked with occasional video. Incidentally, Al Sabah 10996V shows as a similar strength peak as 11039 but fails to lock.

You're doing better than me then, nothing whatsoever here! Think they've turned the power down or redirected the beam a little bit.
