Hello,

Is anyone knowledgable on fibre optics?

I have 4 100m runs of WF125 to my 1.8m raven, I want to replace with a fibre optic LNB.

I dont know wether to get a 4 way optical splitter with 4 QUAD terminators, so I get 16 outputs. Or use a quattro terminator and a standard multiswitch. I feel like the optical splitter would give the best signal but Im unsure?

Thanks,
Aaron

I would stay optical right up to the back of the receiver and then use quad or twin converter there, keeps the signal good and only one fibre link to every point. Use an optical splitter further upstream.
Could be tricky though, get as much advice as you can from those more experienced.

Thanks, That was my thought as well. It surely being better to split optically than inside multiswtch which is all copper isnt it.

I'll try get some specs from the manufacturer on the splitter.
