Due some clear skies tonight ...but fancy it would be a serious mistake to stand outside in the sub zero temps expected..
..on account Im not yet recovered sufficiently ..

Laminas 1.2M fibre dish with an IBU, on a Clarke Tech USALS motor, covering 57E - 24.5W to an Octagon SX88. Displayed on a 20" Dyon LED TV.

Seperate 80 cm dish on 28E with a Humax Freesat for SWMBO.
Free Sat V8 meter. Sony Bravia 46" LCD, Sony BluRay and Home Cinema.

Clear as a bell here, but a bit parky too (1.5C). Perhaps I'm optimistic but not seen anything yet....have also resisted removing yet more slates from my roof to get a better, more comfortable view...

I think I've been incredibly lucky. I stood outside for five minutes and after my eyes got used to the darkness (don't forget we have very little light pollution here) I saw about half a dozen meteors. Some really brief flashes, others a little longer.....

I've seen about 8 tonight (including two together) while out in the garden taking some photos of my christmas lights. Didn't manage to get any in the shots though. A very clear still night in South Bucks.

I saw one about 11.30 pm and then the clouds rolled in. Typical British weather.
