But here I will post the conversion of the construction of the Diqec motor for rotating large antennas. The antenna is on a balanced arm and the rotor load is zero.

If anyone is interested, I can attach a couple of pictures of the rebuilt engine construction. The old Gibertini antenna has been replaced with a new one and the system has been working without problems for a year and a half.

Interesting, does the LNB still have it's original feed or did you cut it off? What gains do you see with the scalar on?

The Lnb has an original source. By adding a scalar ring, I mostly improved the signal by 1 to 1.5 db. I have measurements somewhere on the forum, or on several of them. I am talking about the gibertini 150 antenna. With this combination, I have much better signals than with the original gibertini feedhorn and flange lnb.And beter result with other lnb.
There talk about ku band signal.

Interesting - this, to me, sounds like the cone around the LNB stops some ambient noise coming in, rather than funnelling useful signal down the throat. I am probably wrong here.
