Morning all,
There's a couple of C band transponders I'm curious about, and how strong they are.
SES-5 5°E - 4000 R 18200 1/2 DVB-S2 QPSK - with BBC World Service streams
SES-5 5°E - 4014 R 1820 2/3 DVB-S2 QPSK - with VOA services
Eutelsat 8WB 8°W - 3964 R 4166 1/2 DVB-S2 QPSK - with RFI and Monte Carlo Doualiya feeds.
These are what presumably feed some of the FM and remaining shortwave transmitters used in and around Africa. I'd be interested to know if anyone who's equipped for C band can pick them up?
I guess there's not much chance on a smaller dish, even though a couple of them are S2 QPSK 1/2 which is very robust.
Cheers
