but i read commands on my SF8008 and diseqc original papers
sf8008_______________________Ex yz_______________________________Fx yz
E or F for East or West
Ah! Interesting!
I never got into studying that again, because in POSITIONER APPLICATION NOTE VERSION 1.0 they wrote:
And I never really understood their table 3:Command byte ‘6E’ is not yet fully defined, but will normally use two data
parameter bytes. At present the command is defined for control of a terrestrial
antenna rotator, e.g. for the azimuth of a horizontally-directed Yagi or
microwave antenna.
Backwards Rotation from North -- First Rotation from North -- Second Rotation from North
But I now understand that this is for full 360 degree rotation (hence they write 'east' and 'west', not 'left' and 'right'?!?)
You say that SF8008 uses this commandset?
E0 31 6E 00 00 (0 ° ) goes to north (0°), or to south (180°)?
(The convention should be useable for both northern and southern hemisphere, I find...!)
