Latest news from 28E / Channels coming to Sky 2009

Teletext Ltd has closed down its services on Sky today, and Teletext services on analogue and digital Freeview will close tomorrow.

The reason for this is that the company itself is closing down.

The annual Sky epg freeze started on December 15th

Then on December 16th radio channel Fun Kids was removed from 0171!

And in another break to the epg freeze Rockworld TV was re-added to epg 378 on December 18th!

Its only on for one programme a day so obviously its being used as a holding slot until the epg number is sold on.

Rocks & Co are reported to be leaving Sky early in the new year.

Probably the final few updates for 2009

Info TV 2 will relaunch as Showcase on January 25th 2010

Interestingly a licence for Showcase 2 recently appeared on the Ofcom list

Despite the epg freeze 9XM was pulled off epg 829 around December 24th. This is in preparation for Colours to launch in the near future

Epg information suggests Sky Box Office timeshare channels 745, 746, 747, 748 and 749 will cease on january 4th 2010

Also about to go - the 18 Plus Movies channels 938, 939, 940, 941 and 942 appear to be closing on January 5th.
