if you do this remember to drill holes in the bottom to allow rainwater to run out, as it will get in eventually.
I'll have to remember that!

As you have a Triax dish, you could modify the piece of plastic at the front and rear of the feed arm so they are hollow, then subsitute the 100 size cable for something smaller such as the shotgun 55 cable used on twin LNB installs to the first switching box(es).

I've only fitted four (pairs) in the boom arm in the past, but I would assume there's plenty of room for another eight at least.

That is a good idea. Having fitted the same dish at my sister's place but only with a twin monobloc, I had fed the cables through the arm. But I'd never thought there'd be space for that many cables.

I'll have another look.
