I've got most of it put together, and the chaps coming to install it tomorrow morning weather permitting , i am scared of going on the roof :D,

I am not expecting to get very far with this and i will upgrade to the JBX21A or something similar in the near future.

I know this may sound obvious, but I've seen several of these installed by so called installers who haven't clicked the elements into the vertical. The JBX21WB will be what you want, but it really is an enormous aerial at 2.6m long.

Yes the Jaybeam is a giant that should be well braced. It's a monster!

I have one of these DMX and they rightly have an excellent reputation. The elements are solid so they can't fill with water and detune.

I think the modern rotor you have is fine and durable like the Technomate disecq motors. CH is right about some of the older ones, the nylon cogs weren't the best.
