Got my new/old 1.5 to keep me busy..
Just applied the first coat of smooth black to the support ring..
The house stinks and it's giving be a headache..so will spend the rest of the night upsairs with the doors shut playing Farcry 3

Have to invest also for 2nd Lnb, if that first prove good enough. 78.5E shows many channels (though I dont watch these but it sure is headache issue if I loose them ).

Here are some pictures of the first arrivals in the EU.
Those two pieces will be tested by my friend Onacila and compared to other C band LNBs he`s got. He`s preparing a big C band test of circa 15 different models of C band LNBs. Starting with low cost DMS/WS International LNBs to the profi class of Norsat 3220 and 3115 series and noise figure from 12K - 20K.
The test will contain spectrum analyzer check, weak signals performance and also LO stability of each LNB. All that will be tested on a 2.5m PF dish and satellites from 96.5E to 53W.
I added a preview of a few LNBs that will be tested.

P.S.: We will see if there is any LNB that can outperform our all time winner, the Norsat 8115 LNB.

Costa, have you test the LNBs yourself for any improvements?

No, I haven't. The 3 came when I was on vacation and I never removed them from the box. I will test one if they come out with a dual as I have 2 feeds on my big dishes. I was told by the boss at Titanium that a dual will be produced if there is demand for it.

Nope. I wonder what kind of transport vehicle are canadian post using? Quite long time for even sea transport or may I only used for EU-posting times?

Still not yet Lnb. Did you sent goodies by normal post? Is it possible to ask somehow from post office what might be situation? Does it allways some kind of tracking code in use for packets? Its been so long time that it sounds like problems somewhere within transport?!?

Nothing here yet either. If you look on this page you'll see that it's 4 to 6 weeks... It's been 4 now, so I guess we should get it within 2 more weeks.

I would have happily paid extra for a normal delivery - this extra wait just isn't worth whatever saving was made. Didn't think that "surface" post existed these days.

Yep, hockey interests here too (native Russian here ;)) I guess there will be competition from Canada as well
