Since the first type motor for my lnb changer shows a bit of play and does not look industrial
I decided to make one of a Moteck SG2100 .
Drilled a 12 mm hole alltrough the mainshaft and the top cover of the moteck and made the conicle outcoming mainshaft 17 mm cylindrical to attach a 44 mm alu adapter .
This adapter fits in the 50 mm pvc tube where the 3 lnb's are attached to .
Took a 12 mm steel shaft welded at one side on steel plate , accurate fitting in the lower part of the feedarm .
Placed the motor over that 12 mm shaft
Cuttted a spare Fibo feedam in two and placed the unit between the 2 parts .
Modified the stubs for the endswitch in the moteck to a range of 180º .
Turning this full angle takes to much time so I modified the little gearbox by taking out some gears and making it smaller and faster .
Also have to change the program of the controller (Omron PLC)
This weekend found some time to finish (allmost) the new motor .
To make a movie for Youtube , attached it to my "Walking Fibo" .
