Right, basically i currently have sky + on my main TV downstairs, and my son has decided he wants to purchase freesat HD for his own tv upstairs.

I have looked into it and found the Bush Freesat HD Digital Box, for £98. So i thought great, i'll get that as its only a one off payment.

I went in to a norsat shop to find out a bit more and the woman quoted me a price of £235!!. She said i would need a box, and an engineer round to change a part on my satalite, and install the cable.

Is £235 really the cheapest price i should be looking at to get HD Freesat?

Any advice or tips would be helpful, really all i want is HD Freesat for the cheapest possible price

Welcome,

Bush HD freesat - Argos £89
Assuming you have a quad LNb, you'll just need an extra cable run from the dish to the freesat receiver.

Your more than likely have a quad which is an LNb with four independently switched outputs :)

ok thanks, does that mean all i need is the £89 box, and an HDMI cable. If thats the case it can be easily installed without calling an engineer round right?

HD receiver, HDMI cable (normally supplied with rx) and a run of double screened coaxial with appropriate connectors from dish to room.
