This is a very interesting post on one of the Birddog distributors website:
As of 10/1/20, we unfortunately no longer support the Birdog Satellite Signal Meters as it got very difficult to get replacement batteries and other parts for them.

We actually loved the Birdog Signal Meters in it’s day, but eventually battery issues and hard-to-find updates made us invest into another solution – the XR-3 Signal Meters & Modules.If the distributor cant get updates the average punter has no chance.
The birddog website no longer has any reference to satellite meters so they have dropped support for them.

Help Required - Need Sat update for Horizon HDSM USB meter
Hi, I'm new here so please bare with me. My problem is the Sat's I have on my meter are out of date and as Horizonhge.com no longer exists I'm at a loss as to where to go to get up to date Sat's, Sky Q, P1 or Sky Q, P2 Astra 2E or 2F 28.2 E Any or all of the above would get me back to work...
