Hi

I would appreciate any thoughts on a problem I experienced when I swapped a 0.5db Fracarro single LNB for a 0.2db Inverto twin on a Penta 85cm dish. After swapping over initially I got a slightly better signal quality on Astra 19, but when I tried moving the motor I couldn't get a signal. I tried checking the cables to no avail. I then replaced the original LNB and it worked fine. Do I have a dud or am I missing something?

May be a power problem, the draw from the motor and the twin LNB may be just too much for the receiver.

Maybe try a different Twin LNb. Go for one which doesn't draw as much to be sure :)
