Hi guys,

i have a dish with circular feedhorn and a quattro LNB for Ku band. The front side of the feedhorn has a plastic film. This film got broken, insects started getting into the waveguide (ruining the signal) and i decided to replace the feedhorn.

The problem is that the diameter of the new feedhorn is smaller of the old one's. For that reason i can't mount the feedhorn. Any idea?

Cant you place a plastic bottle top cover same size as feedhorn waveguide opening on the old lnb. What about putting tape or some rubber around the throat of the new lnb.

Or just put a piece of expanded polystyrene in the throat.
