In the town: Paraclipse Hydro, D = 228,6cm {37,5W - 85,2E}; 24'' PowerTech Actuator; Power Tech GBOX V2000 positioner; Dreambox DM500s; Drake ESR 300s; Paraclipse Eclipse, D = 310,0cm {45,0W - 96,5E}; 36'' PowerTech Actuator; PowerTech GBOX V3000;

I receive the German channels on 19,2*E, the French ones in SECAM on 5,0W, but I know that analogue C-Band transmissions on 62,0*E and 70,0*W are still going... Some satellites are broadcasting European programs for America in timeshare, too (for example RAI Italia). Can you give me a full list of the satellites with analogue transponders, which are still broadcasting?

The only other one apart from those on 19E and 5W is M-Net South Africa on Intelsat 902 62e, according to Flysat -

_http://www.flysat.com/analog.php

That't encrypted in Irdeto, and the footprint is concentrated on Southern Africa.

The 70W PAL channels are for South America.

According to website (I didn't remember the exact address) NHK World has analogue satellite transmissions for Asia? Is this correct?

They have a presence on several satellites in the Asia region, but I would think it unlikely they have analogue transmissions. Could be wrong I suppose. Nothing here refers to analogue -

Pal, yes but that would be the picture modulation.

For the European 5W & 19E channels you could do worse than look at this interesting little website.:

That's Japan's public broadcaster. Not NHK World.

Oh dear :D

It regularly exceeds its bandwidth allowance at the end of the month - some of those charts are very big indeed. Im already on the top bandwidth plan for a small web site with the host. Anything else starts getting expensive & the google ads wouldnt cover the hosting costs.

To be honest Im not bothered if its off line for a few days a month - its mainly there for my amusement and if folks find its useful then thats a bonus.

It'll be back up tomorrow ..... :D
