SKY 3 on astra 28.2, can anyone answer this, pls,,,??

Hi Guys,
I watch all the FTA channels on asta 28.2 using just a normal digital satellite receiver (KAON). Apparently SKY 3 looks to be encrypted, I mean its not in the clear unlike most other uk based channels which are wiewable free of charge .
Its baffling that sky 3 is currently available free of charge on freeview whilst is apparently encrypted via satellite in the clear at 28.2 on astra, Is this correct, is this true?? or can anyone tell me if sky 3 is somehow receivable on astra 28.2 in the clear and post me the frequenty details to upload it on my receiver?? pls bear in mind am not using a sky box,

Its transmitted ftv (its free but you need a one off payment card to decrypt it)

So you cant watch it on a fta box.

Freeview / Freesat are two different things - different transmission formats - different channels available free. You will find theres at leats half a dozenchennels free on Freeview that are encrypted on satellite.
