Hi Guys.
I hope someone can give me a clear idea on this forum.
I was browsing the internet and a link took me to Skybox and Openbox. They are selling them cheap but no description. The only thing they said about the boxes that they can also work as dreambox. I don't know much about dreamboxes either.
What is the general purpose of skybox and openbox? do they work only with card sharing?
Please guide me.

Many thanks in advance.

They are nothing like the Dreambox. The only thing they have in common is that they have an ethernet port and thats it.

They will work with cardsharing but only as a client box. They can only receive they cant act as a server.

They are cheap for a reason :D

Thanks for the reply Nano, It would be helpful if you tell the reason too, as there is a BIG price difference. Which one is the best to invest in?
Thank You

They are not Linux boxes in the same sense as a Dreambox. The linux that the openbox runs is not open source and cannot be modified easily.

If you want a cheap and chearful HD box thats the way to go, but be aware they are not customisable like the Dreambox is.
