Cheers to all,

I've the following issue that I desperately try to fix for a while now: I'm trying to stream from DM800 to PC using the web interface and vlc or Web-X-TV. I have the Nabilo blachole img running. Although it worked for a while in the beginning, it just stopped working. I've read more such reports of "suddenly stopped working" and I wonder if there is something wrong with the h/w.
Anyhow the log I get has as follows:

It seems like dreambox is asking from a service to get the stream but this service does not exist or is down. This service could be the streaming service of DB. Does anyone know how to find out if its running and what files does it need to run/config?
Does anyone have an idea cause I've looked all over the forums for a month now with no luck.

On the other hand, using web-x-tv I get a C++ error that its trying to illegally access library and does not work period. I have installed Stellar webif by a Nabilo team member in hopes to fix but no luck. Same situation...

Config is: 192.168.1.90 is the IP of my 800 dreambox, port 8001 is defined in stream.m3u.xml file and seems to be the default streaming port for the webif. I've tried to change to 80, 8080 but no luck.

Here is a list of other things I've eliminated:

- I play the channel I'm trying to watch
- Happens in both vlc DirectX output or default
- Ports are open, no networking issue
- I have tried it using an FTA channel in case it could not get stream from emu, while running Common interface, mgcamd, gbox in case it was an emu issue.
- Web if is working excellently other than that, I get remote, change channels see info, power options the works other than streaming that is what I need 'O'-red.

Thanks in advance, :-worship

I have same problem. When I was using Gemini 3.70 streaming was O.K. When I have changed image to 3.80 I got the same message.

I had the same problem till I reset the http port to 80 instead of 8080.
It should not have something to do with that, but... !

Guys also bare in mind, if you have updated to the latest VLC it has known problems when streaming from a network source. Make sure you are using VLC 0.86i and no later to ensure the problems are not PC side.

Hi all
Every times when i change the default HTTP port the streaming mode stop working with on Gemini.

After few tests i have found a solution, the stream mode require to access to localhost of dreambox, simply create 2 rules on your dream, 1 for localhost on port 80 and 1 for network access on port as you want.

Edit : (extensions => Web Interfaces => Interfaces) :
Address, Port, Authorization
127.0.0.1, 80, no
0.0.0.0, 8080, yes

Thats all and that is working.....
PS : That work fine with the version 0.9.9 of VLC

Best regards
