Hi mates,
Would you be interested to swap your 7025s (in good condition) for my 7020s (2006 model, board revision 2, Alps excellent tuner, plastic film still on lcd, boxed)?

If interested, we should supply each other our landline number and home address to conclude a safe deal. A swap from someone in Belfast would be preferable.

FYI, I am interested in the cable aspect of the 7025.

Thanks and email no email addresses if interested.

Yes, I for one would like to exchange by brand new DM7025 for a DM7020 !
With my current 7020 I can move and rename channels as well as satellites. I can do a manual sat search while checking that the sat signal locks !
With the 7020 it seems you need to disconnect all your cables and hump your box to your pc to do that with an editor . When you're done downloading, you upload the revised list, hump the box back upstairs and reconnect the cables. Also to search manually for a channel while watching it is locked is not possible as there are two separate screens .Wow this is crazy ! No parameters on the infobar either !
Thats why iI want to exchange my more expensive DM7025 for a DM7020.
Any takers or advice on what to do ?
More and more of the box's functions and features are being removed and transfered onto a pc.
By the way this is going, in a few years time there will be no more satellite boxes and everything will be done on the pc
Could the LT4 image be my salvation if nobody wants my box ?
ps I am just an amateur..no expert.

Yoy don't really want to do that. You just need another image for your 7025 and spend a little time getting to know it. What image are you using? The Gemini one is very good I think. Very similar to Gemini images on the other Dreamboxes.

IMHO the 7025 is much better than the 7020 because of the twin tuner. I watch one and record another often.
