I have spoken to Cristobal at TDTProfesional. He is prepared to accept orders from a non Spanish resident on the basis that Caravan´s are not subject to MOT outside of Spain. He will supply the receiver via the website on that basis and ability to receive Hispasat.

No the price is just the receiver, they add installation costs on after purchase only for Spanish residents. Unfortunately this was the cheapest option I could find without using a subscription service like canal plus

That's no problem. The box come already preprogramed. You just have to configure your set up on box (TV,conections, etc) and scan for the avalable channels that where configured by Albertis for the area where is registered.

Yes i understand that but here in Spain you have to pay for installation.They don't just sell you the box.. At least everyone i have spoken to have said so...

Yep I did the box cost 200€ and I fitted it myself and it is absolutely crap box. You can do nothing with it you can only watch one thing at a time you cannot set a timer to record with the remote is horrendous all in all crap. And now we have lost loads of channels on it after the court ruling......

By the way it may just be TV but when this is the ONLY thing you can watch it changes things...... Since then i have got 27.5w working with some help. So it isn't so bad and for motor sport (MotoGP superbikes, spanish bike racing and F1) spanish TV is pretty good.....

Lucky you... :-) We have neither phone lines,any TV signal at all no internet at all except mobile and the signal with that is extremely iffy.. We have electric now at one time that was horrendous as well and our water is from the mountain.. Excellent water but when we are short we have problems.. One year 8 weeks with out.....

Yes we are very lucky in a sense very tranquil all you need is a little money and your health... unfortunately i have neither. But it is a great life in the back of beyond in Spain. we live half way up a mountain surrounded with Olive tree's and little else............

I have just got back from Alicante,and managed to get one of these.Televes TDT satellite receiver for Hispasat,
it only cost €40.The problem i am having is with the tuner on the back of the receiver,it keeps on getting stuck
on the f connector.
